HCF: What can we expect to see in terms of story and art in your Halloween ComicFest title?
Jeremy Whitley (JW) :
"You can expect chaos!  We wanted to put together a team-up of the biggest trouble maker in Equestria and three little ponies who seem to brArticle Imageing about their own brand of chaos everywhere they go."

HCF: What is your favorite part about your comic?
JW:
"We were given the freedom to go anywhere and do anything.  With Discord the only thing you can expect is the unexpected.  Discord is bound to make life interesting anywhere he goes and in this issue we got to go everywhere from fantasy worlds of Equestria past to where no pony has gone before."

HCF: Tell HCF fans why they should pick up your comic first during the event.
JW:
"Our book is full of laughs and adventure.  Just like when they turn on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on tv, they're guaranteed to have fun when they pick up this story!"

HCF: What is your favorite Halloween memory?
JW: "
Last year was the first year I got to take my daughter out for Halloween.  Getting to see her excitement as she ran from house to house to show off her Doc McStuffins costume was the best."

HCF: What has been your worst and best Halloween costume?
JW: "
My favorite was the year in college I dressed up as Aragorn.  Some of my friends were other members of the fellowship and we'd occassionally just come wandering out of forests and bushes and take over fine Chapel Hill establishments in the name of Gondor."Article Image

"My worst was the year I tried to dress as the Dread Pirate Roberts and everybody just thought I was Zorro.  Eventually I gave up and just started agreeing with them.  I had thought that was such a brilliant costume.  In retrospect, I realize now why it was so easy to find the pieces I needed...other people were using them to dress as Zorro."

HCF: What is a Halloween tradition you have?
JW:
"My family has always been big on carving Jack-o-lanterns and now that my daughter can do it to it's tons of fun."

HCF: What are you going to do for Halloween?
JW:
"Well, I am signing for Comicsfest at my local library in Durham, NC and then my wife and I are going to take our daughter out trick-or-treating.  I'll probably also try and bribe my wife into watching scary movies with me."

HCF: What other titles would you associate with your HCF book? “If a comic readers likes____, they should pick up my title?”
JW: "
Well, my creator owned series "Princeless" will also be featured for HCF and if people have enjoyed my work there, they should definitely pick this book up.  I try to bring alot of the sensibilities that make Princeless great to My Little Pony."

HCF: Do you have any favorite Halloween, Monster or Horror themed comics?
JW:
"I love Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclaire's "Halloween Eve" and when it comes to really spooky stuff for adults, it's hard to beat Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's "Locke and Key"."

HCF: Are there any comics that you are looking forward to getting on HCF or in the near future?
JW:
"I'm looking forward to checking out "Hero Cats" from Action Lab.  That book looks like tons of fun."

HCF: Any teasers about upcoming books or who you might be working with next?
JW:
"Well, keep looking for me on more My Little Pony soon and make sure you catch the return of Princeless starting in January with a whole new chapter!"
