HCF2015: Art Baltazar Conjures Surf, Sand, and Silliness in Grimmiss Island

The Volcano Goddess is about to blow her top and it's up to Grimmiss to save the inhabitants of Mama Woogees' tiny island from her lava-fueled fury! But before this little skull-headed guy can set out on his big adventure, he has to take care of some important tasks: stopping the Tiki Monolits, dealing with a crush, and getting an eye exam?!

Art Baltazar: AW YEAH, HALLOWEEN COMICFEST!!!

I love the Comics! The Costumes! The Kids! And the Candy!!! It's an awesome event!

Halloween ComicFest: What can we expect to see in terms of story and art in your Halloween ComicFest title?

Art Baltazar: GRIMMISS! He’s the guy this year! His amazing tales on the Volcano Goddess’s Island will surely heat up this year’s Halloween!

Halloween ComicFest: What is your favorite Halloween memory?

Art Baltazar: I remember when a Sasquatch rang my doorbell. I wouldn’t give him candy until he said "Trick-or-Treat" and did a dance! He was a very good dancer.

Halloween ComicFest: What has been your best (or worst!) Halloween costume?

Art Baltazar: I traditionally dress like Superman every year with my kids. One year I dressed like Marvin the Martian with a giant balloon head mask. No one knew who I was that year.
