HCF2015: Franco Engages in Some Tropical Tomfoolery with Grimmiss Island

The Volcano Goddess is about to blow her top and it's up to Grimmiss to save the inhabitants of Mama Woogees' tiny island from her lava-fueled fury! But before this little skull-headed guy can set out on his big adventure, he has to take care of some important tasks: stopping the Tiki Monolits, dealing with a crush, and getting an eye exam?!

Halloween ComicFest: What is your favorite part about your Halloween ComicFest comic?

Franco: Seriously? COMICS!!! No, wait…CANDY!!! No, wait… BOTH! You can go out on Halloween and get Candy and then you can go into a comic shop and get Comics! And you can get those both for FREE!!!

Halloween ComicFest: What can we expect to see in terms of story and art in your Halloween ComicFest title?

Franco: We are offering up one of my most favorite titles we’ve ever done GRIMMISS ISLAND! This little guy is conjured up when needed and then all havoc is unleashed wherever he may be! This Tropical island is all lava and cacti.

Halloween ComicFest: What is your favorite Halloween memory?

Franco: Going out trick-or-treating with all my cousins and friends and then playing hide-and-seek at night while in costume! It’s hard to hide when you are wearing bright neon green!

Halloween ComicFest: What has been your best (or worst!) Halloween costume?

Franco: That time I dressed as Madonna... it was a material world back then!

Halloween ComicFest: Tell HCF fans why they should pick up your comic first during the event.

Franco: They should get ours first because they want to make sure they get the hot lava and tikis before anyone else! Both of those things go together with Halloween so well!
